Delegating Microsoft 365 Account Management to Utixo
After accepting the quotation, to allow Utixo to manage your Microsoft 365 account, the tenant owner must authorize the delegation through a specific link provided by Utixo.
There are two delegation levels available, depending on the type of service required:
1. License Management Only
This allows Utixo to manage Microsoft licenses only, without access to the tenant configuration or user data. This option is recommended when Utixo is not responsible for technical support.
2. Full Access
Grants Utixo complete access to manage all aspects of the Microsoft 365 account, including:
- Email account creation and management
- Distribution list management
- Technical issue resolution and support
- Opening and managing support tickets with Microsoft
This is the preferred mode for receiving complete and proactive support.
Authorization process
Once the access level is agreed upon, Utixo will send one or two authorization links:
- Link 1: authorizes license management only
- Link 2: (optional) authorizes full access
The customer must open the link and sign in using a Microsoft 365 tenant admin account to complete the delegation.
Important
The delegation is valid for approximately 2 years and must be renewed periodically by the customer using the same process.
This is a purely administrative procedure: it does not involve any technical changes and does not affect active services. It is only related to license and billing management.
