Updating Disk Quota in cPanel

The disk quota displayed in cPanel is not updated in real time. When you add or delete files, the change may take a few hours before it is reflected in the quota statistics.

 

How to force a quota recalculation

To manually refresh the disk usage calculation:

  1. Log in to your cPanel account.
  2. Click on Disk Usage.
  3. Accessing this section will trigger cPanel to recalculate your quota and update the reported disk usage.

 

Note

The recalculation process may take a few minutes, especially if your hosting account contains many files or large directories.
