How to Reset Webmail Application Selection
If you want to reset the default Webmail application (e.g., Horde, Roundcube), you must have root access to the server.
If you do not have the required permissions, we recommend opening a support ticket to request assistance from the technical team.
Files to delete
To restore the Webmail selection interface, delete the following files (replace with the correct values for your environment):
/home/$username/.cpanel/nvdata/test1@domain.tld_default_webmail_app /home/$username/.cpanel/nvdata/test1@domain.tld_hideUserPreferencesOverlay /home/$username/.cpanel/nvdata.cache
What happens after deletion
At the next Webmail login, the system will prompt you to choose your preferred application again. You’ll also have the option to set it as your default Webmail app for future sessions.
