How to Unlink OneDrive from Your PC
If you want to unlink OneDrive from your computer without deleting your cloud files, follow these steps:
- Click the OneDrive cloud icon in your taskbar (bottom-right on Windows or top bar on macOS).
- Click the three dots (menu) and select Preferences.
- Navigate to the Account tab.
- Click Unlink this PC.

Important note
Unlinking OneDrive does not delete your files. They will remain accessible via OneDrive.com.
