Configure an SMTP Send Connector in Microsoft Exchange via Smart Host (Utixo)
To send emails through Utixo's SMTP service using Microsoft Exchange 2010, you need to set up a Send Connector via the Exchange Control Panel.
Step-by-step Configuration
- Access the Exchange admin interface.
- Navigate to Mail flow > Send connectors.
- Click the Add icon to create a new connector.
This will launch the wizard to create a new SMTP Send Connector.
Page 1 – Basic Information
- Name: Enter a descriptive name, such as Smart Host for Internet
- Type: Choose Internet or Custom depending on your setup
Page 2 – Smart Host Configuration
- Select the option: Route mail through smart hosts
- Click Add to enter the smart host
- Type in the hostname provided by Utixo (e.g., authsmtp.utixo.eu) from the activation email

Important: SPF Record Setup
To ensure proper email delivery and avoid spam issues, you must update your domain's SPF DNS record.
Add the following to your SPF configuration:
include:spf.utixo.net
