What is DMARC?
DMARC, which stands for "Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting & Conformance", is an email reporting and policy authentication protocol based on the widely used SPF and DKIM protocols. It is a protocol created for authentication and verification of senders which involves the publication in the DNS of a specific record that tells the recipient's email service what to do with all email messages that have the same domain as their sender but that do not pass the verification of the IP origin (SPF) and the DKIM signature that authenticates it.
