PEC (Certified Email) on a personal domain allows you to use a custom email address linked to a private domain (registered or to be registered). This solution enhances business branding and enables more professional management of certified communications.
PEC Address Structure
The email is configured using a third-level subdomain in the following format:
mailboxname@pec.yourdomain.xxx
Example: info@pec.mariorossi.it
Domain Certification
To activate PEC on your own domain, a one-time domain certification is required. This process enables the domain to handle certified email. Once completed, you can create unlimited PEC accounts on the domain.
MX Record Configuration
To ensure the PEC service functions correctly, set the MX record for the domain as follows:
pec 3600 IN MX 10 mx.pec.aruba.it
Once the record is configured and the domain is certified, you can create personalized PEC addresses like:
info@pec.mariorossi.it
