Importing a Contact List in CSV Format

The Pulse platform allows you to easily import contacts using a .csv file, streamlining your list management process.

Accessing the import feature

Log in to your dashboard, go to Contacts > Import CSV, and select your file or drag and drop it into the upload area.

File requirements

Your file must include at least one column with valid email addresses and must not exceed the platform’s maximum file size.

Field mapping

After uploading, you’ll see a preview of the first rows. If your file has headers (e.g. Name, Email), enable First row contains headers.

CSV Preview

Use the dropdown to map each column to a contact field. Fields that don’t match can be set to Ignore. The only required field is Email Address.

Finalizing the import

Once mapping is complete, select the groups where the contacts will be added:

  • You can choose one or more existing groups.
  • Or create a new group during the import process.

Duplicate contacts will not be re-added: if an email already exists, the contact information will simply be updated.
