Automatic Domain Renewal
When you purchase a domain registration or domain transfer with Utixo, the automatic renewal feature is enabled by default.
How Automatic Renewal Works
The Utixo system includes the following steps:
- Automatic generation of domain renewal invoices.
- Invoice is sent to the client via email at the end of each billing cycle (annually or biennially).
- The renewal invoice is generated 30 days before expiration.
- The domain is only renewed after successful payment of the invoice.
If you selected credit card as your payment method, the invoice will be automatically paid and the amount charged, ensuring the renewal takes place without requiring any user action.
What Happens if You Disable Auto-Renewal
If you choose to disable this feature:
- Renewal invoices will not be generated automatically.
- The client must manually renew the domain from their Utixo customer area at each expiration.
Recommendation
It is strongly recommended not to disable auto-renewal unless you intend to permanently cancel the domain at the end of its term.
