Including overly large images in an email can unnecessarily increase its size, slowing down both loading and delivery. It's therefore recommended to reduce image dimensions before sending.
Manually Resize an Image
To visually adjust the size of an image without affecting its file size:
- 1. Click on the image to display the resize handles along its edges.
- 2. Drag one of the handles to enlarge or shrink the image as desired.
Resize an Image to Exact Dimensions
- 1. Select the image you want to resize.
- 2. Go to the Format tab and enter the exact values in the Height and Width fields within the Size section.
Reduce Image Quality to Decrease File Size
- 1. Select the image you want to compress.
- 2. Go to the Format tab and click Compress Pictures in the Adjust group.
- 3. Select your desired compression level, then click OK to confirm.
