WHOIS Privacy Protection

By paying an additional fee, you can block the visibility of personal data in the WHOIS database of a domain.

This option is useful to protect the registrant’s privacy and reduce the risk of spam or misuse of personal data.

How to enable ID Protection

During the online ordering process, select the option:

  • ID Protection / ID Shield

Once activated, personal details will no longer be publicly visible in WHOIS queries.

Note

Some domain extensions do not support WHOIS privacy protection. Always check availability during the ordering process.
