During the domain registration process, you might encounter the error "Registrant: invalid reg code". This message indicates that some of the registrant’s data is invalid, incomplete, or improperly formatted.
Domain registries require that all registrant information (individual, company, or entity) be accurate, complete, and properly formatted. If any field is missing or incorrect, the domain registration will fail.
Recommended checks
Make sure the following fields are correctly filled in:
- VAT Number: required for companies and freelancers
- Phone number: must be in international format (e.g.,
+39 0123456789)
Ensure that all required fields are completed correctly without typos or formatting issues.
