Managing Utixo SafeBox via the Control Panel

Utixo SafeBox is a flexible storage-as-a-service solution, ideal for various use cases such as backups, file sharing, synchronization, and remote access.

You can manage the SafeBox service directly through the Utixo control panel: simply select the product and click "active" to access the management interface.

 

Main Dashboard

The main screen provides a comprehensive overview of your storage status:

  • Total and used disk space
  • Snapshot management
  • User creation and management
  • Protocol configuration

User Management

You can create additional users and assign access via the following supported protocols:

  • FTP / FTPS
  • SFTP / SCP
  • SMB / CIFS
  • HTTPS / WebDAV

Each additional user will have access only to a specific subdirectory, while the main user will have full access to all user directories.

Note: Before creating a user, you must first create a folder, which will be assigned during the user setup process.

To get started, click on "User Management" from the left-hand menu.

You can only delete a user directory after the associated user has been removed.

Snapshot Management

Snapshots are instant backups of your entire storage space, created directly by our cloud systems.

You can schedule snapshots by defining:

  • Execution frequency
  • Number of snapshots to retain

Snapshots consume part of the available storage space.
